You just got the alert that you have been raided by a streamer on Twitch.  Most streamers have a shoutout command so their viewers can easily find the raiding streamer’s channel on Twitch.  It is really simple to setup and customize.  If you are needing to know how to do this with StreamElements, click here.

Streamlab Shoutout Command Steps

Login to http://streamlabs.com

  1. In the left navigation bar, under Stream Essentials, click on Cloudbot.
  2. Turn on Cloudbot if it not already.
  3. Click on “Add Command”
  4. Under Template, choose !so
  5. The default response is “Check out {target.name} over at {target.url} , they are playing {target.game}!”
  6. Modify the response if needed
    1.  {target.name}  is the username
    2. {target.url} will be their Twitch Link
    3. {target.game} will be their last game played
  7. Choose Advanced
  8. Add an alias, !shoutout

Testing your new Shoutout Command for Streamlabs on Twitch

You can test it by hopping into your chat on Twitch and give it a try.

In Twitch chat, if you type: !so sacket .  The output will be:

Check out Sacket over at https://twitch.tv/sacket , they are playing  Just Chatting !”

Typing “!shoutout sacket” should also provide the same output as above.
